My name is Summer Anderson and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at CUNY York College.

I grew up near Boise, Idaho and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2017.

After graduation, I joined the 2017 Teach For America Corps and spent the next two years teaching 7th grade science at the Highbridge Green School in the Bronx. After teaching for two years and receiving a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, I began my current studies at York College.

Currently, I am completing my clinical rotations and look forward to graduating in December. When not doing school-related things, I love to bake, try new foods, spend time with my husband Sam, and snuggle my toy poodle Captain.
